Hi Everyone ! here is SAMURAI X from Legos Ninja Go ! Ninja Go is a pretty cool concept from Lego, its LEGO and NINJAS and a card \Toy game. I would have gone mental if they had this when I was a little squirt.

the download version looks better.. again

Peace
H.

Same here, why didn't I get cool lego when I was a kid?!

Brilliant piece, it's playful but still professional and filled with all your nice touches, like the detail in the trees and the quality of colour.

Amazing work! I love how you gave the armor a somewhat rougher metallic texture than the rest of the wardrobe.

One observation I make about this is that in this picture it's pretty difficult to tell Samurai X's gender than on the minifigure herself... but then again, in the Ninjago story, Samurai X's identity (and gender) are supposed to be a mystery. Obviously the minifigure does a really poor job concealing either of those things, so much so that in the TV show they gave her a futuristic headset in order to properly conceal her face. So perhaps your decision to leave off the eyelashes was deliberate. Even if not it doesn't take away from the dynamic impact of this drawing.

The background is nice here, as is the spiky character in the foreground. The somewhat faded colors here as opposed to the vibrant plastic primary colors of the actual toys add a level of cinematic realism. Great work all around!

Makes sense. I think the only thing that impresses me more as an (adult) Ninjago fan than how interested kids are in the theme, is the creativity of the work parents have been doing for kids who are fans!
